Closing the deal shouldn't take a week
They said yes on the call. Then it's an invoice, a contract, a form, three emails asking for their business address, and a week later you still can't start.
Without it
- Payment links by hand You make a link, paste it in a chat, then check Stripe to see if it went through.
- Contracts you fill in yourself Copy the template, type in their name and the fee, send it, chase the signature.
- Details spread across chats Their legal name is in one email, their address in a text, their timezone nowhere.
- No idea where they're stuck You don't know if they paid, signed, or just forgot about it.
With it
- One link per client A branded short link that opens on their own welcome page.
- Pay in the flow Card, bank or pay later, with a payment link made for them automatically.
- Contract filled and signed on the page Their details, the fee and your terms merged in, signed without leaving the portal.
- You see every step Slack tells you when they've paid and sends the full snapshot when they finish.
How it works
How it runs in your Slack
- Payment receivedA ping the minute they pay, so nobody checks Stripe by hand.
- Signed and completeThe full snapshot when they finish: signer, business, timezone, the signed contract and what you're delivering.
- Intake answersWhen they fill in your kickoff form, the answers land on their CRM page and post to #onboarding.
- Team kickoff cardYour build team gets a heads up in their own channel with what was sold and what's needed from the client.
- Next stepTheir portal, the contract and the payment link, each one button away.
Sample report, for illustration.

Who it's for
Agencies, consultants and service businesses that sign new clients every month and still onboard them by hand.
- It fits if you sell on a call and then send an invoice and a contract separately.
- It fits if you take one time setup fees, monthly retainers, or both.
- It fits if you use Stripe for payments and want a signed contract before work starts.
- It fits if clients have ever paid and then gone quiet on the paperwork.
It's not for you if you sign a couple of clients a year, or you sell through a checkout page with no contract.
Already running
- 1 business running it, mine
- 4 steps from link to signed
- 13 seconds to prepare a filled-in contract
Every new client I sign goes through this portal now, from the payment to the signed agreement. I built it because onboarding was the slowest part of closing a deal.
Questions
What does it cost to run each month?
The monthly fee covers me hosting it and keeping it running. On top of that, Stripe takes its normal fee on payments, and your e-signature tool has its own plan.
How long does setup take?
About 14 days, most of it getting your contract template and payment options exactly right.
What do you need from me?
Your Stripe account, your contract, an e-signature account, your logo and colours, a subdomain for the portal, your Slack and your intake form.
Can clients read the contract before they pay?
You can preview any client's filled-in contract before you send the link, and send them that copy first if they want to see it. We'll set the order of steps on the call.
Does it handle monthly retainers?
Yes. Each client can be one time or monthly, and the payment link and contract follow whichever you pick.
