Long form takes too long to guess
A YouTube video is a week of work. Picking the wrong topic, title or thumbnail burns that week, and scrolling competitor channels by hand never tells you why something worked.
Without it
- Clicking through channels An hour on competitor pages every time you plan a video.
- Guessing at titles You write five, pick one, and hope.
- Thumbnails by vibe No idea what the top videos in your niche have in common.
- Comments you never read Your audience tells you what they want and it gets buried.
With it
- Your niche read every week The last six months of uploads from every channel you pick, sorted by views.
- Titles broken down Why each top title works, in plain words you can reuse.
- Thumbnails broken down AI looks at every top thumbnail and tells you what's in it and why it pulls clicks.
- Ideas from your comments What your viewers keep asking for, pulled out and handed to you.

Who it's for
YouTubers, coaches and brands putting real effort into long form, and agencies running channels for clients.
- It fits if you post on YouTube at least twice a month.
- It fits if you can name five or more channels in your niche worth watching.
- It fits if you plan videos in Notion, or want to.
- It fits if you'd rather pick topics from data than from a hunch.
It's not for you if YouTube is an afterthought. Posting short form instead? The Instagram Research Agent does the same job for reels and TikTok, and both feed the Content OS.
Built on my channel
- 6 months of uploads read per competitor
- 2 AI breakdowns on every top video
- 10 of your own videos analyzed each run
I built this to plan my own YouTube channel, reading my niche every Sunday so I wasn't guessing what to film next.
Questions
What does it cost to run each month?
The monthly fee covers me running it and looking after it. The scraper and the AI bill to your own accounts, usually around $20 to $50 a month depending on how many channels you watch.
How long does setup take?
About 14 days from the day I have your channel list and your accounts.
What do you need from me?
Your channel, five to fifteen competitor channels, your Notion and your Slack.
Does it work for clients' channels?
Yes. An agency can run one per client, each with its own competitor list and report channel.
