Free Skill from EZJ Online

Your posts already wrote your next newsletter

A Claude skill that turns one Instagram post into an email that actually sounds like you, ready to paste into your email platform.

I built this for a coaching business's content team. Someone was turning posts into newsletters by hand and the tone was always off. Now the draft sounds like the founder and the editor just edits.

From post to newsletter

01 Pick the post Paste one, or ask which posts would make good emails. It ranks on story and honesty, not likes.
02 You approve It never drafts from its own pick. You choose, add notes if you want, then it writes.
03 It picks the segment Same voice for every list, it just changes what it explains and what it assumes.
04 It writes the email A way in, the turn, the teaching, wrapped in your greeting, one soft offer and your sign off.
05 Paste ready Three subject lines, the email, and notes on the segment, the CTA and anything it flagged.

Copy. Paste. Done.

Paste this into Claude Code. It installs the skill and walks you through the Brand Brain setup.

Install the newsletter-repurposer skill from https://github.com/ezjonline/ezj-automations/tree/main/skills/newsletter-repurposer into my Claude Code skills directory. Clone https://github.com/ezjonline/ezj-automations, copy the skills/newsletter-repurposer folder to ~/.claude/skills/newsletter-repurposer, confirm the skill is available, then walk me through filling the Brand Brain in references/brand-brain/ (a few real newsletters I sent, my subject lines, my list segments, my voice and my offers).
  • 3 subject lines, each a different angle
  • 1 soft offer mention, from your real list
  • 0 emails it sends for you

Built so your editor can move things around

  1. The body stands alone. The post part is its own block, so if you ever move to a sectioned newsletter it drops straight in.
  2. Every block lifts out. No "like I said above", no numbered points in prose. Delete a tip and nothing reads broken.
  3. It never fills gaps. If the caption says "comment TEMPLATE" and never says what's in it, the draft flags it instead of guessing.
  4. Your subject lines, not generic ones. Matched to the length, casing and habits of the ones you actually sent.

The Brand Brain (do this once)

Out of the box it writes clean and neutral. Paste in five to ten newsletters you already sent and it writes like you. If a file is still empty it tells you, it never fakes your voice.

  • Real newslettersYour own writing, in full. The voice target, read every run.
  • Your segmentsWho gets what, and what each list already knows.
  • Your offersReal names and prices only. The only place a CTA can come from.

What it will not do

It won't send, schedule or touch your email platform. It won't rank posts on performance, invent a story you didn't tell, or name an offer you didn't list. You get a draft. A human signs off.

P.S. Your posts that flopped are often your best newsletters. It ranks on story, never on views, so it finds them.
